[5/6 Dollar-Yen Scalp Points]
Thank you for your hard work! Alright, let's go with dollar-yen scalping again tonight!
First, today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 156.30. This morning it started around 157.80, but in the Tokyo session it appears that the government and Bank of Japan intervened in the forex market, and around 14:00 Japan time it dropped sharply to around 155.05.
From the morning level, about a 1.50 yen drop, it seems we’ll pass the baton to the overseas session.
So, will the second and third rounds of intervention come without delay? If it stops, it will rebound!
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around 16:00 London market open
● Movements after the 21:15 US ADP Employment Report
● Movements around the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

Other notes…
・Be cautious of headlines related to the US-Iran situation
・Be cautious of headlines related to BOJ forex intervention

Tonight’s “1-minute chart scalping” will likely target moves around each market open plus the movement after the 21:15 US ADP release. For users of the “1-minute Scalping Club,” handling as per the theory should be fine.
Also, for the short-only “15-minute chart scalping,” consider aiming for an immediate additional intervention, imagining a setup around the 157 yen level. If it doesn’t look good, cut quickly.
With that, overseas time will start soon!
Because the profit per trade in scalping is small, it might seem there are 24-hour opportunities, but that’s not the case. By targeting times with relatively high volatility, you can substantially reduce the difficulty of trading.
The times I target are around the London market open and around the New York market open.
・London market open time (16:00 US daylight time / 17:00 US standard time)
・New York market open time (22:00 US daylight time / 23:00 US standard time)
Even immediately after U.S. indicators and events are released, volatility increases and opportunities are abundant. However, in the minutes right after the release, spreads can widen, so always enter after they return to normal spreads as a rule.
Be sure to check the U.S. indicators and events schedule in advance. Knowing when opportunities will come helps you efficiently accumulate profits.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning immediately before U.S. indicators and events. If you go against it, it’s not a pretty sight. You can be taken to the stop-loss level in an instant. Careless mistakes are not acceptable, absolutely.
U.S. indicators and events schedules can be checked on each brokerage firm’s or FX dealer’s website.
Of course, there are many other points besides the three above, but I’ve explained the essential points you should keep in mind when scalping USD/JPY.
