Echo hopes to host signs of a transformation in the future it shows—A challenge toward price action forecasting—
Introduction
I have developed it and am currently releasing it in premium and light versions「Timeline Echo」. Thanks to you, many users are actively using it.
This indicator scans the vast amount of past data to find areas that resemble the current waveform and projects future movement in the box (four values) format. The focus on boxes rather than lines was to visually convey the flow of candlesticks.
However, I am currently devising a **new concept** to elevate Echo to a higher dimension.
From predicting the form to foreseeing the will
The current Echo reflects past similar “waves,” but what I aim for next is to reveal a clear turning signal within the future box.
Specifically, the future ghost will appear with the following form in the logic.
• Pin bar (long wick): evidence that a strong rejection occurred in that past situation.
• Harami (outside bar): a past fact where the momentum suddenly reversed.
Until now, forecasts were like “this area seems likely to be the high/low” but in the logic under development, the future box will be depicted as a **“pin bar with a long wick.”**
Why a “future pin bar” is needed
In discretionary trading, price action is what ultimately pushes you to enter.
What if, at Echo’s predicted point, the future ghost appears with a long upper wick and waits? When the price reaches that zone, we will intensely become aware of **“what happened here in the past.”**
1. Forecast (Echo): signs of a pin bar appear a few steps ahead.
2. Appearance (Reality): the actual price movement starts showing the wick.
3. Confidence (Entry): confirm the synchronization of forecast and reality and pull the trigger.
The moment when the “future omen” and the present reality align is where I am convinced the win rate will be highest.
Commitment to Implementation
To realize this concept, the scan engine must be made even more precise. Not only the closing price trend but also the individual candlestick characteristics such as wick length and real body engulfment must be extractable from historical data as accurately as possible.
Currently, we are digging into the logic of this “price action scan” and preparing to connect it to the next-generation Echo.
Conclusion
Indicators are often “rear-view.” We will overturn that conventional wisdom by placing turning signals ahead of time in the future.
Please look forward to Timeline Echo evolving from a mere waveform guide into the ultimate partner that turns your discretionary judgments into confidence.
