This is the trade on April 20.
There were no particularly notable indicators.
This trade is based on that context.
This time GOLD initially sold off sharply in the early session, then rebounded from the lower price area, and the trend shifted to an upward movement afterward.
In the early stage, a large bearish candle caused a swift drop with strong selling pressure, but later a candle with a long lower wick appeared, confirming support at the lows.
This movement triggered a trend reversal, and from the middle of the session, bullish candles appeared in succession. The price rose while making higher lows.
There were moments of ranging afterward, but the price did not break substantially to the downside, and buying gradually became dominant.
In the early part of the New York market, there was no clear direction and the price traded in a range.
Within that range there were opportunities, but they were not particularly good entries.
There was some movement in the middle, with a rise, but then a gentle decline, lacking a clear retracement, making it a no-chance situation.
Recently, it’s rare to see entries even in the first move.
Continue to enter mechanically without discretion and proceed calmly.

The second attempt of the trend-following strategy also did not offer many good opportunities.
The second trade’s entry point wasn’t bad, but it didn’t extend cleanly and was stopped out at the margin.
However, with the third trade, I managed to recover and endure the drawdown.
