In FX automated trading,MT4 (MetaTrader 4)is used, but when you set up an EA and trade, after downloading MT4 from the broker’s pageyou need to keep the PC powered on.

Because the EA must stay powered on to trade, when you go to work, family members may use the computer, and leaving the PC on is not very secure.

Also, because MT4 is not basically supported on MAC (Macintosh),a VPS becomes essential.

From the above, using a VPS has a great advantage to run MT4 with peace of mind.

A VPS is known as a virtual desktopand you can use Windows on the contracted company’s server while connected to the Internet. This means you install MT4 on the broker’s computer via the Internet.

Rather than installing MT4 on your own computer,you install MT4 on the contracted company’s PC through the Internet.

So, in an environment connected to the Internet, you operate MT4 inside the VPS company's server computer.

Thereforenot only on a PC, but also on a smartphoneif you access that server, the Windows screen appears and MT4 charts are open there.
