[Why is an arrow going against the current more prone to being painful?] What you want to see first on Prime ACE
Good morning.
I am Trader A (Ace), the developer of the "Prime ACE Strategy".
Last time,
discretion in Prime ACE was
not about some difficult thing that could see through everything from the start,
but aboutnot trying to take everything at once,
in other words, starting with the right to pass over things.
This time, as a continuation,
let's actually see what to look at and pass over.
As the first theme,
"Are you not going against the trend?"
I would like to organize this point.
The arrows in Prime ACE are
presented on the basis of confirmed non-repainted candles.
Therefore, there is no need to keep doubting whether they will disappear later.
This is a major strength.
However,
it is not the same that an arrow is confirmed and easy to enter in that moment.
For example, even if a buy arrow appears,
if it is appearing in an overall clearly downward trend,
it tends to be difficult.
Conversely, in a continuing upward flow,
a buy arrow that comes from a pullback-like shape
is relatively easier to read.
What matters here is not the quality of the arrow itself, but
whether that arrow is in line with the current flow
.
So, how do you view that flow?
I think there is enough meaning in looking one level up from the time frame you are currently watching.
For example, if you are looking at M15,
start with H1.
If you have room, also consider H4.
Even just looking at this much makes it fairly easy to see whether a buy arrow aligns with the major flow or goes against it.
You do not need to lay out many time frames from the start.
M15: H1, and H4 if needed.
That alone is enough to begin with.
What I want to see here is not detailed analysis, but
whether the overall direction is up or down
.
Even if it's a buy arrow,
if on H1 and H4 the trend is clearly downward,
you should be cautious.
Conversely, if it is not a strong headwind,
it becomes easier to consider as a candidate.
I think this level of整理 is enough.
What makes trading difficult is when you take a scene that goes against the flow solely because of the arrow.
Of course, not all counter-trend trading is bad.
But the core philosophy of Prime ACE is
to follow the trend at its core.
In that case,
the first priority is
to look for situations where it is easy to ride the flow
.
Even adopting this mindset alone will change how arrows appear considerably.
Even with the same buy arrow,
it is easier to read when it appears within an upward flow.
On the other hand,
if it appears within a clearly downward flow, be cautious.
This is the difference.
Prime ACE is not a tool that makes you think about discretion from zero all at once.
First, look for the main battleground on the panel,
and treat arrows that appear there as candidates.
Then,
filter further based on whether they align with the flow.
Because of this order, discretion does not become too heavy.
On the other hand,
if you chase arrows without looking at the flow,
you will tend to struggle.
Enter when it appears,
enter again when it appears again.
The more you rely on that kind of thinking,
the less Prime ACE's strength will be realized.
Prime ACE's strength is that it does not load everything onto a single arrow.
First, there is a panel.
You can look at settings to find the main battleground.
Then,
look at the arrows as candidates,
and further narrow them down to favorable situations with discretion.
If needed, you can also align management and settlement.
In short,
to "see the flow"is not a difficult technique,
but a natural one-step process to use Prime ACE in its own way.
Don't weigh the word discretion more than necessary.
Especially at the beginning,
just be aware of whether this arrow is aligned with the flow
and that will make a difference.
If you are buying, is it within an upward flow?
If selling, is it within a downward flow?
At least, is it not clearly a headwind.
First, look at that.
Even just that makes it much more practical than treating all arrows the same.
This time,
"Why are arrows that go against the flow more likely to be painful"
as a theme, I have organized what Prime ACE wants you to see first.
Next time, I will make this flow more concrete and touch on how to view Dow Theory’s high/low highs and lows.
