[4/10] Tonight's USD/JPY scalping points and methods freely released
This is Tomizaki from Trading Office.
【4/10 USD/JPY Scalp Trading Points】
Thank you for your hard work! Now, let's do USD/JPY scalp trading again tonight!
First, from the Tokyo session overview for today.
Currently, USD/JPY is at the 159.25 level. This morning, it started at around 158.95, and during the Tokyo session the movement was limited as talks between the U.S. and Iran about a ceasefire were anticipated; however, reports that Iran would refrain from attending the ceasefire talks led to a slight dollar-buying trend.
From the morning level, about 30 pips higher, it seems set to hand over to the overseas session.
It’s the weekend and given the too-unclear Middle East situation, USD/JPY is hard to move… for now, it seems to be in a wait-and-see mood.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalp trading.
● Movement around the London market open at 16:00
● Movement after the U.S. CPI release at 21:30
● Movement around the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movement after the U.S. University of Michigan Consumer Confidence Index release at 23:00

Other notes…
・Ceasefire talks between the U.S. and Iran are expected to begin tomorrow
・Be cautious of headlines related to Middle East affairs
・Be cautious of headlines related to BOJ currency intervention

Tonight’s “1-minute scalp” targets moves around each market open plus the moves after the 21:30 U.S. CPI release and the 23:00 U.S. University of Michigan Consumer Confidence Index release. For users of the “1-minute scalp club,” following the theory should be fine. Tonight as well, keep an eye on headlines related to Middle East affairs.
Also, the short-only “15-minute scalp” method is under pressure since Iran reportedly refrained from attending the ceasefire talks, which can cause dollar buying, so there’s no need to push positions aggressively. Tonight I’d like to focus on the “1-minute scalp.”
With that, overseas time is about to start!
