【4/9 USDJPY Scalp Points】
Thanks for your hard work! Now let's do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, a summary of the Tokyo session for today.
Currently, USDJPY is around 158.75. This morning it started around 158.50, but in the Tokyo session the disagreements over the ceasefire claims have already become apparent, and concerns about the Middle East persist, leading to a somewhat war-leaning dollar buying environment.
After rising to around 158.95 (today’s Asia high) just after 10:00 JST, it pulled back a bit, and seems to be hovering about 25 pips higher than the morning level as it hands over to the overseas session.
With oil prices unlikely to recover quickly in the short term, that’s another factor pushing USDJPY higher.
Now, the points for USDJPY scalping tonight.
● Movements near the London market open around 16:00
● Movements after the US initial jobless claims, personal income, and Q4 GDP data at 21:30
● Movements near the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

Other notes ..
・ Ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran may break down
・ Be cautious of headlines related to Middle East tensions

Tonight’s “1-minute chart scalping” will target moves around each market open plus the moves after the 21:30 data releases. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” following the theory should be fine. Tonight too, keep an eye on headlines related to Middle East tensions.
Also, the short-only “15-minute chart scalping” is already showing disagreements over the ceasefire claims, making safe-haven dollar buying more likely, so it’s not a situation to aggressively position. Tonight I plan to focus on “1-minute chart scalping.”
With that, overseas time will start shortly!
