[Is that arrow past its expiration date?] The reason we made Prime ACE
Good morning.
I am the developer of the "Prime ACE Strategy," Trader A (Ace).
In the articles so far,
Prime ACE first searches for the main battlefield with parameters and panels,
then views arrows as candidates within that,
and finally narrows them down by discretion.
This time, I'll change the perspective a little,
why I originally aimed for a form like Prime ACE,
and the underlying way of thinking I want to share.
Many people probably have had experiences like this.
At first, arrows that look good.
In reality, they yield profits when you start using them.
So you think, “This might work.”
But after a while, they stop working.
Perhaps the way you use them is wrong.
Perhaps they don’t suit you.
Thinking that, you look for another product again.
And this time you buy again, thinking you’ll surely win.
But even if it starts well, it collapses again.
In that repetitive pattern, the products just continue to multiply.
Many people are probably familiar with this flow.
I don’t think this is unusual.
Rather, it is a flow many people go through at least once.
Why does this happen?
One reason is that
there is no arrow itself that remains effective in perpetuity
for the market.
The market is always fluctuating.
Price movements speed, the time frames in which moves grow,
the shapes that work well are not always the same.
In other words,
an appearance that functioned in one situation
may not work in another situation as is.
This is natural.
Therefore,
the idea that “if only this arrow existed, you could win forever without discretion”
has its limits.
If there really were something that anyone could use for years without thinking and keep winning,
the world would be much simpler.
But the reality isn’t so.
Ultimately,
in order to endure for a long time,
you must determine where to fight,
which moments to adopt and which to pass,
and gradually develop such judgments.
However, discretion is difficult.
I don’t know what to look at.
I don’t know how long to wait.
When you hold a position, your feelings waver.
Afterward, you wonder if you were right to pass.
That’s why I think
instead of suddenly doing everything by discretion from zero,
a compass that shows candidates is necessary
.
And not something flashy,
but something built on the tried-and-true trend-following in investing.
The non-repaint arrows of Prime ACE are for that purpose.
They are not to guarantee victory automatically,
but to help you find candidates more easily.
To organize what to look at clearly.
And after you’ve identified the main battlefield,
to make it easier to narrow down with discretion..
I believe that arrows that help you enter the market without thinking at all
are less valuable for long-term use than arrows that act as an entry to thinking about the market
.
I think it’s more valuable for long-term use.
This time I’ve delved a bit into the philosophy,
but Prime ACE is
not built on the idea that “this sign will solve everything.”
.
On the contrary,
knowing that reality isn’t so sweet
is why we aim to make it easier to find candidates,
to find the main battlefield,
and to connect to discretion.
This way of thinking is the foundation of Prime ACE.
