[4/6 Dollar-Yen Scalp Points]

Thank you for your hard work! Let’s go with dollar-yen scalping again tonight!

First, a briefing of today’s Tokyo session.

Currently, dollar-yen is around 159.60. This morning it started around 159.55, and during Tokyo hours it briefly rose to around 159.85, but later was pulled back to the mid-159 level.

There are reports that the two countries are discussing a 45-day ceasefire condition that could lead to an end to the U.S.-Iran conflict, which has kept the upside limited, but the market remains uncertain and not reacting strongly.

It seems the market will transition to overseas hours at roughly the morning level.

Rough market view: around just before 160 yen there is a tendency to sell dollars, while in the low-159s there is a tendency to buy dollars. Also today is Easter Monday, so European and London markets are closed.

Now, the points for tonight’s dollar-yen scalping.

● Movement near the 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

● Movement after the 23:00 release of the ISM Non-Manufacturing Index

Tonight’s “1-minute scalp” will likely target movements around the New York Open, since the London market is closed, and also the moves after the 23:00 ISM Non-Manufacturing release. For users of the “1-minute scalp club,” handling as per theory should be fine. Let’s hope opportunities come in the main New York market.

Also, the short-only “15-minute scalp” strategy may be worth trying, as news suggests talks on a 45-day ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran have weighed on the upside. The entry point would be to wait for a slight pullback, selling if above the mid-159 range).
