Started FX and cryptocurrency investing in 2010. While also an entrepreneur as a former hair salon owner, he has built over 10 years of experience. In 2017, he rode the cryptocurrency bubble and achieved the remarkable feat of growing 3 million yen to 120 million yen in just a year and a half. However, overconfidence afterward led to a devastating setback in which he lost most of his assets. This downturn awakened him to the importance of defense—“rather than focusing on winning, focus on how to avoid losing.” Under professional traders, he rigorously relearned technicals and fundamentals, and has now established a stable trading style centered on scalping.

How the AI Filter Evolves to Match Market Conditions
This time we’ll ask about AI Scalper GOLD, developed by Leo.
It analyzes and learns past bars with AI, remembers losing conditions, and applies them as a filter, but could you explain this in detail? |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
Sure. Typically, when creating indicators or EAs, we separate entry triggers and filters.
However, with fixed filters, the difference between markets you can win and markets you can’t tends to become extreme, right? |
| Even if you set “TP fixed at 10 pips” and “SL fixed at 15 pips,” 10 pips can feel quite far during the Tokyo morning session. But after the London open, 10 pips can move in an instant. That kind of thing, right? |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
Exactly!
So my indicatorstores chart patterns from recent market conditions where “a signal here would have lost,” and uses that as a mechanism.
When a similar pattern appears, it blocks the signal. As the market constantly changes, it filters in line with the current conditions. |
| Looking at the backtests, I can see the filter is quite strong and suppresses unnecessary signals. |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
| Yes. The entry logic itself is fairly simple, so without the filter, it would generate about three to four times as many signals and also more losses. |
| So when the indicator is set, it recalculates past bars and learns right away. |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
| Yes. The moment it’s set, it first learns for the period defined in the parameters, and then proceeds to decide whether to output signals based on that. |
High-Precision Entry Decisions Using a Sub-Chart
| So it controls and uses technically derived signals via AI. Analyzing while watching the chart also seems to enhance the trader’s own learning. |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
| Exactly. Not limited to my tool, the quickest route to winning with indicators is to observe the signals and analyze them, in my view. |
| I see a sub-chart is displayed on the product page—do you actually use this sub-chart in real trading as well? |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
| Yes, it comes bundled with an original oscillator. Those who want to be more selective with signals should definitely make use of it. |
| For beginners, judging the shapes might be difficult, but I see there’s a helpful design that shows the state at the bottom-left of the chart. |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
| Right. It might be a bit hard to see, but when a signal appears below,“Entry OK” will be displayed. If the oscillator also shows “OK” when a signal appears, you can consider that as improving accuracy. |
| It also kindly displays states like “Focus” or “Caution.” |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
If it’s “Focus,” I think you can enter.
If it shows “Caution,” even if a signal appears, it may be better to pass for the moment or wait a bit to see if it moves the other way before entering. |
Semi-Automated Trading That Busy Part-Time Traders Can Use
| You run businesses yourself and must be busy—how do you usually use it? |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
I’m often working during the day too, so I havepush notifications sent from AI Scalper GOLD via MT5.
When an entry signal notification arrives and I’m free, I check the chart on my smartphone and enter. |
| I see. Do the notifications also include the numeric entry level? |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
Yes. The notification includes text and numbers.
For example, you might get something like “Long Gold at 5,000 dollars,” and then you decide based on that. |
| In fact, AI Scalper GOLD also comes bundled with a semi-automated tool, right? |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
Yes. It includes a semi-discretionary EA.
If you set that EA on MT5, entries made from your smartphone are also reflected. If you preset take-profit and stop-loss parameters, it handles the rest automatically. |
That’s convenient!
So you install MT5 on your home PC or VPS and run the three components:the signal tool, the semi-discretionary EA, and the original indicator, correct? |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
| Yes. Keeping a PC on is possible, but for safety, I recommend running it on a VPS environment. |
Does It Work Beyond Gold? Application and Results on Other Pairs
| Should we consider this tool basically dedicated to the 1-minute chart on Gold? |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
| I think it’s best to use it on the 1-minute chart for Gold, but there are quite a few adjustable settings. |
| Which suggests it could be used relatively well onhigh-volatility instruments like Silver or BTC, right? |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
Exactly.
However, first get used to it on Gold.
You need to match parameters per instrument, so once you get a feel for that, use backtests, and if it looks viable, I think other pairs can definitely work. |
Because it controls “points you shouldn’t enter” based on past bars, it makes you want to try it across various instruments.
By the way, I heard that when converted to an EA for fully automated trading, it became about 7x over a year. Is that with compounding? |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
| No,simple interest, actually. We’re currently also collecting real forward results for the EA. |
| 7x at simple interest, huh! That’s an amazing result. |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
| “Then sell the EA!” some might say, but with EAs, choosing a broker that provides a better environment becomes crucial. Since we can’t specify a broker, we’re currently holding off on selling the EA. |

Tips for Improving Trading and a Message to Readers
| That was a uniquely insightful discussion from Leo, who has clearly mastered trading. Lastly, could you share a message for our readers? |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
| Sure. At first I couldn’t win at all—I bought expensive materials, got scammed, and went through a period of heavy losses. |
| Leo |
| Even when using a signal tool,if you think hard about “what intent lies behind this signal,” I believe your trading will improve. |
| So rather than just following signals, engaging your mind and learning while practicing is the path to improvement. |
| Hayakawa |
| Leo |
| Right. If you face the signals with a learning mindset and work through them properly, I think you’ll become able to win. |
I felt the filter that controls “do not enter here” based on past bars is an excellent mechanism.
In the sense of acquiring the skills of an experienced trader like Leo,AI Scalper GOLD is definitely worth considering.
Thank you very much for this highly valuable and meaningful discussion. |
