20190328 USD/JPY Scenario [Trade Commentary]

From here, the movement went like this.

It initially fell, reflected at the glittering pink line (blue arrow) around line ② to enter a short position.

The take-profit target is as drawn in the scenario: pink line, green line, and red line.

The result: I took profit around this area.

There was a sharp drop and a rebound at the pink line, so I quickly took profit.

After taking profit, there is a selling scenario from red line ①, so I was watching, but the shape here when it rose strongly is not a setup to enter.

If you really want to enter, the entries and exits might look like this.

It was a selling-minded scenario, but in the end it moved up.

Even so, if you had entered solidly near the lines, it might have been a move where you wouldn’t lose.

One note for the scenario.

It draws a path of falling and rebounding at the pink line, the blue-arrow trajectory.

If it rebounds at the pink line, wouldn’t it be fine to buy there? (at the red-arrow point) Some people might think so.

Previously, when I drew a scenario like this, there were people who bought at the pink line, but this is not a place to buy.

Keep a selling mindset, and target only sell entries. So I’ve marked with a red circle that the goal is to sell at lines ① and ②.

If you do the trajectory drawn in the scenario, you might be able to take both ways, but I think it’s better to fix your perspective and attack with the side that has higher advantage.
