Trading on March 30th.
There are no particularly notable indicators.
This trade takes those into account.
Today's GOLD initially fell, then bounced from the lower price area and shifted into an upward trend.
In the early stage, a sequence of bearish candles began with a move that kept pushing the lows lower, but afterward candlesticks with lower shadows appeared, and selling momentum gradually weakened.
As the middle phase arrived, bullish candles became consecutive, turning upward while raising the lows. The pullback was shallow, and there was a clear strong upward momentum with highs being updated steadily.
Toward the end, the trend continued, with even large-bodied bullish candles appearing, highlighting strong buying pressure.
In the NY market, the trend-following strategy suffered a string of losses against the flow, but then aligned with the trend, with a bottom-up contrarian entry, and three straight wins redeemed the losses in one go.
Subsequently, mid-trade selling accelerated profits, leading to a large positive gain.
In the end, there were no opportunities, but the trade finished firmly in positive territory.
Continuing to enter mechanically without discretion, let’s keep it steady.

The second phase of trend-following aimed for a short entry from the NY market, but even if entered, it was not easy to slide down smoothly.
Had several choppy stop-outs.
Still, it remained profitable on a risk-reward basis, and even as the mid-section got choppy, it stayed barely positive, ending with about 20 pips overall profit.
The direction was correct, but timing was not ideal; nonetheless, it stayed in the positive on a risk-reward basis.
Continuing as the Auto-Matic FX name suggests, enter mechanically according to the rules!
