【3/25 USD/JPY Scalping Points】
Good work, everyone! Let’s go with USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 158.95. This morning it started around 158.65, but during Tokyo time the trend reversed from yesterday’s dollar weakness, with dollar buying taking the lead.
Yesterday’s dollar weakness was due to a string of news toward a ceasefire in the US-Iran conflict. Since Iran is hardening its stance toward ceasefire talks, dollar buying appears to be coming back. The dollar weakness from yesterday is being unwound. The market is completely being swung by Middle East tensions..
From the morning level, it looks like about a 30 pips rise before handing over to overseas trading hours.
Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movements around the London market open at 16:00
● Movements around the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

Other notes..
・Be cautious of headlines related to Middle East tensions
・Be cautious of headlines related to BOJ currency intervention

Tonight’s “1-minute chart scalping” has no major US indicators or events planned, so there’s no particular fundamental material in the market. The targets will likely be the moves near each market open. For users of the “1-minute Scalping Club,” follow the theory and you’ll be fine. Also, be cautious tonight regarding headlines related to Middle East tensions.
Also, the “15-minute chart scalping” for short-term scalping tends to favor dollar buying as Iran hardens its stance toward ceasefire talks, reducing expectations for positive progress. Do not push it too hard. Tonight I’d like to focus on “1-minute chart scalping.”
Now, overseas market start is about to begin!
Because scalping targets small profit margins, it’s easy to think there are 24-hour opportunities, but that’s not the case. By targeting periods with relatively high volatility, you can significantly reduce the difficulty of trading.
The time periods I target are around the London market open and around the New York market open.
・London market open time (16:00 in US daylight time / 17:00 in US standard time)
・New York market open time (22:00 in US daylight time / 23:00 in US standard time)
Even immediately after US data/events, volatility increases and opportunities appear. However, during the first few minutes after the release the spread may widen, so always enter after it returns to the normal spread.
Always check the US indicator/event schedule in advance. Knowing the times when opportunities come allows you to accumulate profits efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning immediately before US indicators/events. If you go against it, you’ll be taken out in an instant. Careless mistakes are not acceptable, absolutely not.
The US indicator/event schedule can be checked on each brokerage or FX provider’s website.
Of course there are other points besides the three above, but I’ve explained the minimum points you should grasp when scalping USD/JPY.
