[What to look at first?] Prime ACE is a tool that searches for the “main battlefield” on the panel
Good morning.
I am Trader A (Ace), the developer of the "Prime ACE Strategy."
As the “proper way to use Prime ACE,” the first thing I do is
not to chase arrows right away.
First, I do this:
move the parameters and observe how the numbers in the panel at the top right of the chart change.
After deciding the asset and time frame you want to trade,
by slightly varying the conditions,
you watch how win rate, PF, net profit, and maximum drawdown change.
What’s important here is not to look at “whether the current numbers are good or bad” in isolation.
What you truly want to see is
which way they move when you change the conditions.
For example,
when you slightly tighten a condition,
・the win rate increases
・PF improves
・net profit improves
・maximum drawdown is restrained
If you can see these kinds of changes,
that is a technical edge that is likely to work well for you,
and it can become your main battlefield.
Conversely, if just moving the condition slightly causes the numbers to clearly deteriorate,
that situation may not be compatible with the current settings.
You may need to adjust the settings, assets, or time frame.
In other words, the Prime ACE panel is
for finding where you should fight.
When I look at the panel,
I do not judge based solely on win rate.
Win rate is an easy-to-understand number, but
that alone isn’t enough.
So I also look at PF.
Furthermore, I assess whether profits are actually accumulating by net profit, and
whether there is no excessive drawdown behind the scenes by maximum drawdown.
In my view,
the Prime ACE panel
is not about looking only at win rate,
but about considering PF, net profit, and maximum drawdown to judge the overall balance..
On the sales page too,
it shows the “trend difference when changing conditions = probability of success,”
and the ability to instantly compare those changes without running backtests each time is a major strength of Prime ACE.
That’s why,
Prime ACE is not a tool that you enter as soon as an arrow appears;
I believe it is a tool to first search for your main battlefield on the panel, then selectively refine with discretion on arrows.
Next, you do this:
within that main battlefield,
“filter out clearly NG arrows” with your market sense.
The arrows of Prime ACE are not final judgments, but “candidates,”
and this positioning is clearly indicated on the sales page.
This time, among the ways to use Prime ACE,
the very first thing you should do
“find the main battlefield with the panel”
is summarized here.
