【March 12 (Thu)】Lightning-fast Seal Trade Results and Next Targets【USD/JPY, Gold, etc.】

Today as well, we will analyze the market. In this article,we will explain the market situation and strategies for USD/JPY. Regarding EUR/USD and gold, we will present videos at the end of the article.

【USD/JPY Market Situation (1-hour chart)】

Currently, USD/JPY is forming an uptrend on the 1-hour chart. In yesterday’s market,a double bottom formed near the lower channel line, and afterward it rose with higher highs and higher lows. From this flow, USD/JPY looks like a favorable buy setup. 【Basic Strategy】The current basic strategy is to buy on pullbacks. Since the channel line is still functioning, one scenario is trades aiming for a rise up to the channel upper limit. However, one thing to watch is the previous high aroundaround 159.2. This line could become a strong resistance, so a rebound may occur. Therefore today, we will focus on whether it will form a pullback after a rebound. If a shape similar to a double bottom forms again near the channel line, there is a possibility of a several tens of pips rise.【Another Scenario】Another possibility is a breakout of the previous high. However, we do not aim to chase a breakout. If the previous high is surpassed, we wait for a pullback after the breakout. Until then, if a support becomes resistance-turned-support (S/R flip), that could become a pullback buying point.

【USD/JPY Summary】Currently USD/JPY is: continuing uptrend - mainly pullback buying - watch for resistance near 159.2 as the market situation. As long as the trend line is not decisively broken downward, I will mainly view this from a buy perspective.
