【3/4 USD/JPY Scalp Points】
Thank you for your hard work! Now, let's go with USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, today's Tokyo session overview.
The USD/JPY is at the 157.30 level. This morning it started around 157.55, and during the Tokyo session safe-haven dollar buying supported by concerns over a prolonged US-Iran conflict kept it running in the high 157s, still near the top of the 157 handle.
However, from the overnight high around 157.95 it has fallen, and it seems heavy above the mid-157s. It looks like a roughly 25-pip drop from the morning level will hand over to the overseas session.
Headline-type trading is difficult, but today also be aware of sudden shifts in Middle East tensions.
Now, for tonight's USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movements around the London market open near 17:00
● Movements after the US ADP employment report at 22:15
● Movements around the New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Movements after the US ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI at 24:00

Other notes…
・Watch the headlines related to Middle East tensions

Tonight's “1-minute chart scalping” will target moves around market opens plus the moves after 22:15 US ADP and 24:00 US ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI releases. For users of the “1-minute Scalping Club,” handling as per theory should be fine. Also, headlines related to Middle East tensions require caution today as well.
Additionally, the short-only “15-minute scalping” looks heavy on the upside with the potential for opportunities as the possibility of a further BOJ rate hike next month remains. If we can sell in the high-155s, we will enter.
Now the overseas session is about to start!
Because scalping aims for small profit per trade, it may seem like there are opportunities 24 hours a day, but that is not the case. By targeting times with relatively high volatility, you can significantly reduce trading difficulty.
The times I target are near the London market open and near the New York market open.
・London market open time (16:00 USD summer time / 17:00 USD standard time)
・New York market open time (22:00 USD summer time / 23:00 USD standard time)
Volatility remains high and opportunities appear immediately after US indicators/events release, but in the first few minutes after release, spreads may widen, so the rule is to enter only after returning to normal spreads.
Please always check the US indicators/event schedule in advance on each brokerage or FX provider's website. Knowing when opportunities will come helps you accumulate profits efficiently.
Also, avoid positioning immediately before US data/events. If you go against it, you’ll be staring at losses. Careless mistakes are not acceptable.
US indicators/events schedule can be checked on each brokerage/FX provider's website.
Of course there are many other points as well, but I have explained the minimum points you should grasp when scalping USD/JPY.
