Simple Logic FX: System B Evolution with Gi-Shin Additions
The signals for Gi-Shin used in the counter-trend strategy requested by K-san have been
added to ZigZagH and ZigZagH_EA.
The latest versions of ZigZagH and ZigZagH_EA,
including K-san's discretionary parts, have been uploaded to the members site.
(Listed on the "System B: Basic Set — K-san's Trading Style" page)
Purchasers should
download the latest version and
replace and use it.
I’ll briefly explain K-san’s counter-trend strategy.
It is a reversal capturing the pullback from moving average divergence based on Grahnhill's law.
The pullback timing is in the red frame of the image below (reference OANDA Securities site).
While looking at a chart with ZigZagH installed, K-san felt that
the timing of the reversals at 8 and 4 might be exact if the Gi-Shin signals were generated,
so he requested Gi-Shin signals,
and we added the feature.
On yesterday's gold chart, the timing is as below.
After adjusting the moving-average divergence rate filter,
K-san replied as follows.

Thank you for sending the latest version of ZigZagH.
I have checked the divergence rate of the indicator.
The sign is correctly displayed where you want it to appear.
Perfect!
Thank you for your response this time.
We appreciate your continued support.

K-san adds discretionary judgments to these signals and trades accordingly.
Please inform the members about that discretionary part as well,
and note that it is described in detail on the members site,
so please take a look.
System B: Applied Edition Using K-san's Settings
When checking the parameter settings for this counter-trend strategy,
aside from the newly added moving-average divergence rate filter and RSI filter,
the settings are quite loose (signals are easy to generate).
K-san, having set it like that,
focuses on Gi-Shin,
and further narrows with two oscillator indicators.
The strategy is to relentlessly target only the good moments.
Seeing these parameter settings,
I thought differently.
Aimed at Gi-Shin and oscillators
using K-san’s counter-trend strategy,
while generating many signals
and deciding the final entry by discretionary judgment.
If so,
the number of entries increases,
and by narrowing the timing with discretionary judgment,
the win rate might improve as well,
I thought.
For example,
targeting the following as Grahnhill's Law III.
Alternatively, during trends, only enter in the direction of the trend using
the manual button on ZigZagH_EA.
