Good job everyone! Alright, let's do dollar-yen scalping again tonight!
First, the overview of Tokyo time for today.
Currently, dollar-yen is around 152.90. This morning it started around 153.45, but during Tokyo time before 8:00 Japan time it rose to around 153.75, then the trend shifted to selling dollars and buying yen. After 13:30 Japan time, it fell to below 153.
From the morning level, about 55 pips down, it will hand over to the overseas session.
Today the US is returning after a holiday, but the mood suggests the dollar-sell/yen-buy trend may continue.
Now, theポイント for tonight's dollar-yen scalping.
● Movement around 17:00 near the London market open
● Movement after the 22:30 release of the “U.S. NY Fed Manufacturing Index”
● Movement around the New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)

For tonight's “1-minute chart scalping,” in addition to the movements near market opens, the moves after the 22:30 release of the U.S. NY Fed Manufacturing Index will likely be the targets. For users of the “1-minute Scalping Club,” if you handle it according to theory, there should be no problem.
Also, the “15-minute chart scalping” for short-only trades has a high probability of continuing dollar weakness after the US holiday, so it's worth aiming for. The entry should come after a small pullback, ideally selling at levels above 153.
Well then, overseas time will start shortly!
Scalping tends to be thought of as having small profit margins, so people assume there are chances 24 hours a day, but that's not the case. By targeting times with relatively high volatility, you can significantly reduce the difficulty of trading.
The times I target are near the London market open and near the New York market open.
・London market open time (US Daylight Time 16:00– / US Standard Time 17:00–)
・New York market open time (US Daylight Time 22:00– / US Standard Time 23:00–)
After US indicators/events are announced, volatility increases and opportunities arise. However, in the first few minutes after the announcement, the spread may widen, so it is essential to enter after the spread returns to normal levels.
Always check the US indicators/events schedule in advance. Knowing the times when opportunities come allows you to accumulate profits efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning just before US indicators/events announcements. If you go against them, you cannot win. You can be taken to the stop-loss level in an instant. Carelessness is not allowed, absolutely not.
US indicators/events schedules can be checked on each brokerage/FX provider websites.
Of course there are many other points besides the three above, but I’ve discussed the essential points you should cover when scalping the dollar-yen.
