[2/13 USDJPY Scalp Points]
Thank you for your hard work! Now, let's do USDJPY scalping again tonight!
First, here is today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently USDJPY is around 153.30. This morning it started around 152.70, but during the Tokyo session it moved up and down with no clear direction within yesterday's range, showing uncertain movement.
From the morning level to around 60 pips higher, it seems to be transitioning to the overseas session. However, with the US CPI due tonight, it is unlikely to see an excessive move that breaks yesterday's range before the release.
Now, here are the points for tonight's USDJPY scalping.
● Movements around 17:00 around the London market open
● Movements after the 22:30 release of the “U.S. Consumer Price Index”
● Movements around the 23:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)

Other notes ..
・The rise after the line-through of today’s mid-price is said to be due to Mr. Honda, a former Internal Affairs and Communications Council member, indicating in a Reuters interview that the Bank of Japan is likely to refrain from an additional rate hike in March.

Tonight’s “1-minute scalping” will focus on moves near the market opens plus the movements after the 22:30 release of the “US CPI.” For users of the “1-minute Scalping Club,” if you handle as per the theory, there should be no problem.
Also, for the short-only “15-minute scalping,” with the view that the BOJ’s March rate hike is diminishing, there is no need to push it hard. Tonight I want to focus on the “1-minute scalping.”
And now we’ll be starting in overseas time soon!
Because the profit target width in scalping tends to be small, it is easy to think there are opportunities 24 hours a day, but that isn’t the case. By targeting times with relatively high volatility, you can significantly reduce the difficulty of trading.
The times I target are around the London market open and around the New York market open.
• London market open time (16:00 during US daylight time / 17:00 during US standard time)
• New York market open time (22:00 during US daylight time / 23:00 during US standard time)
Even immediately after US indicators/events are released, volatility rises and opportunities increase. However, in the first few minutes after the release, spreads can widen, so the rule is to trade only after they return to normal spreads.
Always check the US indicators/events schedule in advance. Knowing the times when opportunities come around helps you accumulate profits efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning right before US indicators/events releases. If price moves against you, you could be taken to the stop-loss in an instant. Careless mistakes are not acceptable.
The US indicators/events schedule can be checked on the websites of each brokerage/FX broker.
Of course, there are other points beyond these three, but I’ve covered the minimum essentials to keep in mind when scalping USDJPY.
