[2/9 USD/JPY Scalping Points]
Good work, everyone! Alright, let's do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, the summary of Tokyo session today.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 156.40. This morning it started around 157.05, but during Tokyo trading hours it began with a lead of selling yen due to the Liberal Democratic Party's resounding victory in the weekend House of Representatives election, stopping at around 157.65.
After that, since Finance Minister Katayama said on the weekend that he would communicate with the financial markets on Monday if necessary, there was cautious behavior about rate checks and actual intervention, and in the end it seems to be translating from the morning level to about 65 pips lower during overseas time, handing off the baton.
Now, the points for tonight's USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements near 17:00 London market open
● Movements near 23:00 New York market open (30:00 Dow open)

Other notes…
・Trading at the start of the week after the House election, markets may move more than usual near each market open

Tonight's “1-minute chart scalping” has no U.S. indicators or events scheduled, and there is no particular market catalyst, so the target points may be around the moves near each market open. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” as long as you handle it according to the theory, there should be no problem.
Also, for the short-only “15-minute scalping,” the market is cautious about rate checks and actual intervention, keeping gains heavy, so trying it is also an option. The entry point is to wait for a slight pullback and be able to sell around the upper-156 level, perhaps.
Well then, overseas time will start shortly!
Because scalping targets small profit margins, it is often believed there are 24-hour opportunities, but that is not the case. By targeting periods with relatively higher volatility, you can substantially reduce the difficulty of trading.
The time frames I target are around the London market open and around the New York market open.
・London market open time (US daylight time 16:00– / US standard time 17:00–)
・New York market open time (US daylight time 22:00– / US standard time 23:00–)
Even immediately after U.S. indicators/events are released, volatility rises and opportunities increase. However, in the few minutes after the release, spreads can widen, so it is essential to trade only after returning to the normal spread.
Always check the U.S. indicators/events schedule in advance. By knowing when opportunities arise, you can efficiently accumulate profits.
Also, avoid positioning immediately before U.S. indicators/events are released. If you go against it, it will be disastrous. You can be taken to your stop-loss line in an instant. Carelessness is not acceptable.
U.S. indicators/events schedules can be checked on the websites of each brokerage or FX provider.
Of course there are many other points as well, but I have talked about the minimum points you should keep in mind when scalping USD/JPY.
