Prime Combo Signal Update (late January to early February)

and
【Basis and Recap】Differences between instantaneous and confirmed in Prime Combo Signal
As described in the manual,
Not limited to the Heaven and Earth indicatorsthe display changes up to the higher timeframe confirmation
For a 15-minute chart, the icon count required for the 1-hour timeframe to confirm is four.
Let's actually look at the oscillator.
15-minute chart

The Oscillator TF2 is the 1-hour chart. As mentioned earlier, four icons are needed for confirmation.
There are five icons. In other words, one confirmation already exists on the higher timeframe.
At this time,
- If MTF is set to confirmed, TF2 will be green in determination
- If MTF is set to instantaneous, the color will change temporarily for the moment of change
This is what happens.
In Prime Combo Signal, the result is judged by the indicator, so the entry may differ from the actual entry.
However, if future updates set all MTF to confirmed, theoretically the same results as Prime Combo Signal can be obtained.
By the way, let's also check how the 15-minute chart looks on the higher timeframe.
1-hour chart

The 1-hour chart at the same time.
Already one is confirmed in blue (orange frame on the 15-minute chart).
The second one is blue, but this second one has not been confirmed.
There is a possibility that the color changes until confirmation
.
Summary

In Prime Combo Signal, the MTF filter
- If used as instantaneous → judged by color until confirmation
- If used as confirmed → judged only by the confirmed indicators
That is how it works.
As also mentioned in A-busan's post, I feel it is better to use instantaneous for discretionary trading and confirmed for automated trading.
In A-busan's Investment Navigator, for DSATEA’s 1-hour trades, there were many times when the daily chart was confirmed, so personally I prefer the confirmed setting.
Since trends break from lower timeframes, I believe we should carefully choose how to use Prime Combo Signal or DSATEA's current filter to avoid trend reversals.
