So I created a “structure that judgment cannot enter”
When I wasn’t winning in trading,
I always thought, “My judgment isn’t good enough.”
I need to study more
I need more experience
If I know the right answers more, I should be able to win.
But at some point I realized it.
The problem wasn’t the quality of judgment.
Judgment itself
was breaking the trading.
Judgment always drags in emotions
No matter how calm you think you are,
- If profits are growing
→ “Maybe I should go further.” - If it moves a little against you
→ “It might come back.” - After a winning streak
→ “Today I feel I can push through.”
Like this
Judgment always enters together with emotion.
This isn’t a talent or mental issue.
It’s how humans are designed.
Even reducing judgment wouldn’t help
At first I thought about it.
- Increase the rules
- Tighten the conditions
- Add more check items
But the results were the same.
Judgment wouldn’t become zero.
Somewhere
There would be a margin like, “Is this an exception this time?”
That margin would remain.
As long as that margin exists,
Trading will inevitably collapse.
So I changed my approach
It wasn’t about doing judgment well.
It wasn’t about making it easy either.
This is what I did.
I built a structure where judgment cannot enter.
- Where it ends is decided by the system
- If it moves upward, follow; if it falls apart, it ends
- Wicks and emotions don’t matter
- Only the closing price matters
I didn’t create a seat for humans to think in from the start.
When you “exclude” judgment, what happens
It’s strange, but
- You stop hesitating on taking profits
- You stop delaying stop losses
- You stop jumping for joy or sinking in losses over wins and losses
As a result
Trading became quiet.
The flashiness decreased, but
It stopped breaking down.
Things textbooks didn’t teach me
Textbooks say:
- Make the right judgments
- Have grounds
- Stay calm
But the answer I arrived at is the complete opposite.
There isn’t a right judgment to begin with.
What exists is
the structure that determines whether judgment can intrude.
So first, protect with the structure.
Decide the exit before emotions.
With that alone,
Trading becomes a different thing.
