[1/16 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points]
Thanks for your hard work! Let's do dollar-yen scalping again tonight!
First, overview of Tokyo time for today.
Currently, the USD/JPY is around 158.35. This morning it started around 158.60, but during Tokyo time, Finance Minister Katayama stated that “intervention is included in the agreement between the Japanese and U.S. finance ministers,” which led to a yen-buying trend. After 11:30 Tokyo time, it fell to around 157.95.
I think the upside has become heavier due to this remark, but since then buying has continued steadily without hesitation. If there is no actual intervention, the yen depreciation trend is unlikely to change.
From the morning levels, about 25 pips have fallen, and the baton will likely be handed to the overseas session.
Now, here are the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements near the London market open around 17:00
● Movements near the New York market open around 23:00 (Dow opens at 23:30)

Other notes…
・Pay attention to remarks from U.S. officials
・Be cautious of ultra-high-level yen-weakness warnings and rate-check news
—–
Tonight’s “1-minute chart scalping” is unlikely to have market-moving U.S. indicators or events planned, so the target moves are likely around each market open. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” handling according to the theory should be fine. Be mindful of the highest-level warnings of yen weakness and the upcoming rate-check news.
Additionally, the “15-minute scalping” short-only approach has the upside capped by Katayama’s remarks, so it could be worth trying. The entry point would be waiting for a small pullback and forming a selling setup around the 158 mid level.
With that, overseas hours are about to begin!
Because scalping targets small profit margins, it is easy to think there are 24-hour opportunities, but that is not the case. By aiming for periods with relatively high volatility, you can dramatically reduce the difficulty of trading.
The time windows I target are near the London market open and near the New York market open.
・London market open times (16:00 in US daylight time / 17:00 in US standard time)
・New York market open times (22:00 in US daylight time / 23:00 in US standard time)
Volatility remains high and opportunities increase immediately after U.S. indicators and events are released. However, in the minutes right after the release, spreads may widen, so the rule is to always enter after the spread returns to normal.
Always check the U.S. indicators and events schedule in advance. Understanding the times when opportunities will arise helps you accumulate profits efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning right before U.S. indicators or events. If you move against it, you’ll be in trouble in an instant. Carelessness is unacceptable, absolutely.
You can check the U.S. indicators and events schedule on the websites of brokerages and FX providers.
Of course there are other points beyond the three above, but I’ve explained the minimum points you should keep in mind when scalping dollars per yen.
Also…
In fact, I’ve completely publicized one of my trading methods, the “15-minute scalp,” for free. I hope it proves helpful (completely free).

Also, on the following page, I’ve公開 my main trading method, “1-minute scalping,” so if you’re interested, please check it out. (Sorry… this one is paid.)
If you’re aiming even higher, please consider it.
