Take-Profit by Split and Step Trail: How Discretionary Traders Can Extend Profits
Entry is possible. But—
“The lot was too large,” “SL was too close, causing an error,” “it extended even after taking profit.”
In these kinds of “operational accidents,” winning scenarios often crumble.
So this time, we present a panel EA to fix the risk first and streamline orders.
A tool for risk avoidance and profit pursuit
Profit Manager ProIntroducing the MT4/MT5 mindset.
What can this tool do?
1) Automatic calculation of a “safe lot” from Risk%
This EA first sets Risk% (e.g., 2%).
Then, based on the distance from Entry to SL,
it automatically determines the lot so that risk on the account balance matches the specified percentage.
Aim
Eliminate “mood-based lots”
Keep risk constant even if stop loss width changes
Reduce calculation mistakes per instrument (works for CFD/Index/FX too)
2) Supports Single / Dual / Triple (partial close)
Positions are in 3 modes: the lot determined by Risk% is split.
Single: Completed in one shot (simple)
Dual: 2-part take profit (let it run + secure)
Triple: 3-part take profit (stepwise “leave” management)
TP is automatically recalculated by RR ratio (1R/2R/3R).
When you move the SL line, TP is rearranged in tandem,
so the “appearance” and the risk design stay aligned.

3) Trailing: either “breakeven-only” or “breakeven + step”
Trailing comes in two forms:
BE Only: Move to break-even (plus offset) and stay fixed from there on (no trailing afterward)
Step: After moving to break-even, trail stepwise
Note: Triple uses a safe design and unifies Step behavior (can follow even if BE Only is specified)
Especially with Step,
it’s designed for the discretion of “I want to take profit, but also want to ride the rising wave.”
4) Order types: Market / Limit / Stop toggled with one tap
With a button UI
Side (Long / Short) to decide the trading direction
Kind (Market market order / Limit limit order / Stop stop-order)
Switch and place the ORDER.
Moreover, in Market mode,
there is a logic that safely estimates direction from the line position,
so even if the line shifts visually, it remains resilient.
5) Pre-checks for broker restrictions (StopLevel / FreezeLevel)
Hidden but common accidents are these
StopLevel: SL/TP too close, order rejected
FreezeLevel: SL change attempted at a non-changeable distance, causing failure
This EA pre-checks here to avoid impossible orders or SL changes.
How to use (3 steps)
Attach the EA to the chart
Draw an SL line to decide “loss cut position” (this is the baseline)
Set Risk% → Lot auto-calculation → ORDER
In Dual/Triple, TP is automated by RR.
Just “decide the stop loss first,” and your trade design is complete.
Since TP is positioned by RR ratio, moving SL does not break TP in tandem.
Additionally, ratios 1/2/3 can be adjusted,
so you can numerically reflect your rules like “secure TP1 early, TP2/TP3 to ride longer.”
Moreover, the line can be nudged to any price by dragging, straightforwardly supporting your discretion.
For Limit/Stop, you can fine-tune entry with Up/Down buttons, and the entire setup (SL/TP) follows while keeping relative distances.
If needed, you can widen the loss width (setup width) with the + button, and TP will recalculate automatically by RR ratio.
Who this is for
People who find lot calculation tedious and get inconsistent each time
People who want to have a standard for partial take profits and trailing
People who enter discretion but don’t want to mess up the execution
People who want a method that remains stable even on days with wide stop losses
People for whom this tool is not necessary
People who want fully automatic entries
People who want to manage complex grid/averaging EAs in one go
(This EA mainly serves as a tool to support discretionary execution)
Value this EA provides
“Fix risk before orders and standardize partial take profits and trailing”
This is the core of Profit Manager Pro.
Risk% → automatic lot
RR ratio → automatic TP
Partial take profit → staged management
Trailing → breakeven or step
Before focusing on “how to win,”
make losing consistent.
Just that makes trading considerably more stable.
