[December 28, 2025] Recommended settings for prime combo signal when not using MTF (USD/JPY, Gold)

This time, we will introduce the advantages of using the new Prime Combo Signal version (to be distributed in early January next year) when not using MTF at all in the filter settings. MTF (Multi-Time-Frame) is a powerful filtering function, but there are clear benefits such as reproducibility and stability even when you deliberately avoid using it.

In particular, for highly volatile USDJPY and XAUUSD (gold), the effects of this parameter setting are more evident, and high performance in terms of stability and reproducibility can be expected. For those who primarily trade these currency pairs, please consider using this setting as a reference for testing and operation.

① Line touch (confirmed) + current without MTF.

In other words, when turned into an EA, it will yield the same numbers. It is not very effective for other currencies, but if you can reach 14,000 pips with no MTF and a confirmed-interval entry constraint, that would be a good figure. The win rate is very low, but covered by the RR. Based on proper money management.

This is set to yield the same results if turned into an EA. This setting is Gold-only, but if you exceed 20,000 pips with no MTF and a confirmed foot entry, it is at least sufficient. The win rate is poor, but reproducibility is very high. Prime Combo Signal pairs very well with Gold. However, SL is wider than other currency pairs, so use a funds management tool and aim to enter with a lot appropriate to your margin.

Setting without MTF has a very high reproducibility. Of course, using MTF yields clearly higher performance, and the difference is often more than double.

What matters is not a binary choice of "use MTF or not," but creating a foundation that can achieve high accuracy even without MTF.

If you can raise the performance without MTF, then applying a higher-timeframe filter with an MTF setting can further narrow down the conditions, resulting in even greater stability and advantages.

First, improve the completion level without MTF. That is the most reliable approach to maximize the performance of the settings with MTF.
