Even at Christmas or year-end, those who are reading this article will become able to win! Only those who don’t stop studying will remain
Christmas.
The city is lit up with illuminations,
there are couples holding hands in front of the station.
Laughter that sounds joyful.
—To be honest.
Back then, I was utterly miserable.
After work at my part-time job.
Low hourly wage.
A tired body.
pockets almost empty.
On the way home,
I saw couples walking happily and thought,
“…that looks nice.”
“But now, it’s impossible.”
The emotion that sprang up right after that,
I still remember clearly even now.
“I will definitely earn more than these people.”
Back then,
I was what you would call a “small-time trader.”
- Winning and losing
- There seemed to be rules, but not really
- My emotions swung with the lot size
- A losing streak would crumble everything
My lips were eloquent,
but my results were third-rate.
Honestly,
I wondered many times if trading wasn’t suited for me.
I thought that many times.
But,
that night on the way home, something was different.
The mixture of frustration,
shame,
and a strong desire to change,
made me think, with seriousness,
“I don’t want this to end like this.”
Not that couples were to blame.
Just that
- to live without worrying about money
- to not have to worry about tomorrow’s payments
- to spend time with the person you love without hesitation
That kind of “room to breathe”
I didn’t have back then.
So, what did I do from there?
Did I aim for a dramatic reversal?
Did I dream of huge gains?
—No.
I focused everything on not losing.
- Stopped entering positions recklessly
- Prioritized “survival” over win rate
- Skipped markets I couldn’t profit from
- Lowered the lot size
It was dull.
Really dull.
Not the kind of results you’d post on SNS.
But,
the account remained.
Experience accumulated.
Before I knew it,
that sense of urgency I felt after work started to fade.
Compared to someone else,
I irritated less easily.
The person I compared myself to became yesterday’s me.
That was the biggest change.
Seeing people enjoy Christmas,
I didn’t need to hurry.
But,
do not cover up the emotion of “frustration.”
That feeling
is proof that you can still rise higher.
What matters is simply
- whether you end in envy or
- whether you take action
That’s all there is to it.
Back then, I decided in my heart.
“I’m losing now, but I won’t end up like this.”
That accumulation is connected to now.
So I say this.
If right now,
after finishing a part-time job,
you have no money and no time,
and others look shining to you,
—This is your chance.
Grip that frustration properly.
Make choices that don’t betray the you who was a loser.
Markets remember only those who didn’t run away.
