Explanation of the new ADX_DX parameter “Instant/Confirmed”

ADX_DX isa histogram that displays the relative strength or weakness inside ABUADX

The view has become clearer, hasn’t it.

This is an experimental trade, but I have inserted the 1-hour ADX_DX into the 5-minute chart (DMI color-change entry, color-change exit)

The area in the green frame is the ADX_DX.

DSATEA Parameter: Instant

The instant of the DSATEA parameter is

the real-time color of ADX_DX

that is being judged.

If current, it refers to the current candlestick(unconfirmed) indeed.

There is a drawback that the color may change until it is confirmed.

Advantages

For example, if you display the 5-minute ADX_DX on a 1-minute chart, the color will change until it is confirmed, but you can apply DSATEA filtering to the real-time 5-minute trend.

the confirmed ADX_DX

In practice,the current is the previous candlestick’s ADX_DX.

Since it is the confirmed ADX_DX, you can judge without repainting.

Advantages

For example, when looking at a daily chart, if the current ADX_DX tends to stay long, you can make a judgment that it will likely continue

（EURUSD, GBPUSD tend to have clearer trends and are more likely to show two or more lines）

About the DSATEA filter up to now

As a note, as mentioned in the cautionary text

DSATEA filter judged everything with current = confirmed, TF2 or higher = instantaneous

For example, on daily or 4-hour charts,the timing for signals is clear and easy to understand.Moreover, when daily and 4-hour charts show confirmed signals, you can also aim for DMI color-change entries or line touch & band touch on the 1-hour chart.

However, with only confirmations, entries may be a bit late in terms of trading.

Question: Which is better, Instant or Confirmed?

• Instant = changes in real time, leaning toward discretionary entries
• Confirmed = after confirmation, better for semi-automatic chart-following entries
