First, in nature, mountains and valleys are positioned as follows.

Mountains and valleys in nature

• Mountainis a high place where the earth bulges up.
• Valleyis a somewhat lower area between mountains, shaped by water and rivers flowing through.
• Valleys are born because mountains exist, and mountains appear even more prominent because valleys exist.

In other words, mountains and valleys enhance each other and create a landscape in nature.

For indicators, heaven-and-earth mountains and valleys follow a similar principle,

Summary

In nature, a valley is always between mountains.

Because mountains exist, valleys form, and a hollow that looks like a valley where a mountain is fading away is not a “valley” but merely an exit.

Similarly, in the “heaven and earth” indicators,the real valley is something inside the mountain.

If a peak of the mountain still has about half remaining, it’s a chance.

If you mistake the place where the mountain is fading for a valley, you’ll be drawn into a trap.
