【Basis】Results and impressions of re-inputting Heaven and Earth’s Mountain Trade
Heaven and Earth’s Mountain is the view that
the uptrend is above the center line, and the downtrend is below it
.
The Mountain Trade means entering after the mountain peak has finished.
When you think about it, it was a very simple logic, wasn’t it?
Using the Heaven and Earth indicators to buy on dips and sell on rallies as a guide to whether it’s an uptrend or downtrend,
and using the mountain peak and zero-line cross
- to deepen the basis for entry
- to avoid false signals
we do so.
About Mountain Trading
“Mountain trading” is a method where the market reaches the peak (overbought/oversold) and you enter when that movement ends.
Method and entry conditions
- Peak of the mountain ends (turns gray)
- Oscillator TF1LV1 around ±80
- Contraction toward oscillator cross
The method is simple as well.
When tested, in many cases entries tend to move from a point toward a line, so depending on the case it gives a sense of being a contrarian by nature. We feel this strongly.
At first, with many Mountain MTFs and Mountain signals, we thought trading would be mountain-centric.
However, in reality, the mountain is contrarian, the valley is trend-following, so the result is that valley-trend entries became central, and mountains are more suited to MTFs and market analysis.
Also, this indicator has an automatic entry feature, so
- automatic entry at the moment the mountain ends
- profit-taking EA on another chart (the Heaven and Earth line, oscillators, etc.)
thus,a one-trade system that completes from entry to exit automaticallyis possible.
Issue: No signals on the dashboard
The Heaven and Earth dashboard typically has no signals in the standard or daily versions.
Therefore, if you want signals for multiple currencies, you need to post, for example, the Mountain All-Signon the entry chart to generate signals.
We have been able to run this on 29 currencies.

On the entry chartwe only putthe Mountain All-Sign.
There are two peaks for Mountain: high and low.
This high(1 to 2 bars max)signals worked well.
If you look at another MT4 for the relevant currencies, you won’t miss the signal.
The Mountain All-Sign isa highly reliable signalthat, once confirmed, will trigger an alert. The timing of the entry triggers an alert, which is very helpful.
Even on 29 currencies, MT4 remains fairly lightweight.
Rather than the Mountain All-Sign,the standard Mountain indicator also has alerts, but this one simply rings the moment High or Low lights up.

on the entry chart plus the Mountain All-Sign; not on the standard Mountain indicator
on the entry chart plus the standard Mountain indicator
this may feel heavier than the All-Sign..
Impressions
- Valley signals are mainly for trading
- Mountains are mainly for market analysis and MTFs
is the impression.
Of course there is a mountain trading method as well, so if you’re used to contrarian trading, please give it a try.
Understanding mountains made me feel suddenly less resistant.
Even simple valley trading improves quality.
