[December 16, 2025] Recommended settings for PrimeComboSignal when not using MTF (USD/JPY, Gold, EUR/USD)
This time, we will introduce the advantages of a Prime Combo Signal filter setting that does not use MTF at all.MTF (Multi-Timeframe) is a powerful filtering function, but there are clear benefits in terms of reproducibility and stability even when you purposefully do not use it.
In particular for currencies with high volatility such as USDJPY and gold (XAUUSD),the effects of this parameter setting are more likely to stand out,and both stability and reproducibility offer high performance expectations.If you mainly operate these currency pairs,please use this setting as a reference benchmark for validation and operation.

That is, even if you implement it in an EA, you will obtain the same validation results. It is not very effective outside gold and USDJPY, but the match rate is perfectly reliable.

Gold 1-hour chart

Prime Combo Signal pairs very well with gold. However, SL is wider than other currency pairs, so use a money management tool and enter with a lot size appropriate to your margin.

Compared with other pairs, euro/dollar performance is slightly inferior. If you can achieve this with the MT F-less current-only setting, that is acceptable. The histogram is the key. Although not a frequently used filter, it is valuable when not using MTF.

What matters is not a binary choice of using or not using MTF, but building a foundation that yields high accuracy even without MTF.
