[EA Production] EA distribution back

Out of whim, I will distribute an EA.

This time the EA uses MA and BB.

As those who read my other posts know, I have negated most indicators after a long detour.

Nevertheless, this time I prepared an EA that uses MA and BB.

Why did I prepare an EA that deliberately uses indicators? Because “even if it has no practical value for me, it might have value for others.”

In short, I will pick a reasonably decent EA I have built in the past, reorganize it for distribution (so it’s easier to modify), and distribute it.

Platform: MT5.

(Trading volume on MT5 surpassed MT4 this year. Those who still cling to MT4 should consider migrating soon.)

Parameters

・Timeframe: the timeframe to apply MA and BB

・Lot: quantity to order when a position is held (simple interest operation)

・SL: stop loss width (in pips)

・TP: take profit width (in pips)

・MA period (Simple Moving Average)

・BB period

Header files required for operation

・Trade\Trade.mqh (included by default in MT5)

Backtest sample (21 years)

My intention is for verification use. I do not recommend using it in actual trading as-is. I take no responsibility. I will not answer questions.

Logic

・Buy when MA is rising and the current price touches BB-3σ

・Sell when MA is falling and the current price touches BB+3σ

・Close by TPSL

This is akin to aiming for the false-break section of Granville's rule.

When prices are rising and suddenly drop,

・ Residual buy positions that missed the exit

・ Increased demand due to corrective buying in response to a sharp change

are expected to drive prices back up.

Because the condition is a ±3σ touch in the opposite direction of the trend, the signal frequency is rather rare.

I conceived this five years before the time of writing.

By adding conditions, unnecessary trading can be reduced and performance may improve.

It may be a waste to leave an unused EA dormant, so I placed one EA this time.
