【Break Hunter M1】Taking Profit Too Early Issue +45,150 yen revealed challenges【DIY Indicator Practice】
2025/12/5 Trade Record
Today as well, trading on my own sign indicator “Break Hunter M1” (sold on GoGoJungle) signals!
This time +¥45,140 (7 pips). It was embarrassing how clumsy I was… but it was a day full of realizations

It was a day I thought, “Wow, I’m so clumsy and embarrassing…” (laughs)
The win was a win, but in terms of movement,a market that easily could have yielded 30 pips or more, so
I’m feeling a bit down while writing this now.
But I think days like this are what lead to growth, so I’m recording it.
■ This market and entry reasons
・On the 1-hour chartThere was a solid distance to the SMA
→ I judged, “This is going to rise straightforwardly!” and entered.

Right after entering, the movement was good,
reaching +10 pips in about 10 minutes.
At this stage, ideally I should have let it run a bit more, but…
■ The “I’m so bad it’s embarrassing” point starts here
● It was time to pick up my partner at the station (laugh)
Walking toward the station while watching the chart,
“I’ll move my stop to break-even if needed, and at least I won’t lose, which is fine ~”
This odd sense of relief stayed with me as I moved.
But obviously, while I’m moving, I can’t focus on the chart at all.
And on the 1-minute charta WT-like candle with a long upper wickappeared,
“Oh scary… let me take profits now…!”
and I got scared,
closing at +7 pips.

When I look back at the chart later,
I’ll think, “What was I doing?”
■ To be honest…
I’m so bad it’s embarrassing.
But only through experiences like this
do the things I lack become clear and visible.
■ Today’s one point for improvement
I didn’t set a pre-determined take-profit rate
I could analyze the growth potential well, but
Where should I take profits?
How far should I let it run?
How much drawdown is acceptable if it pulls back?
And I didn’t decide any of this at all.So,
I feel uneasy if I’m not watching the chart
I panic at small reversals
Ultimately I end up taking profits too early
which is a completely beginner’s move.
Ah, so embarrassing (laughs).
■ Future tasks (things to change from tomorrow)
① Before entry, decide how far to let it run
If I set a take-profit level,
even when I’m out and about, I can let it run calmly.
② When I can’t focus, don’t enter
Today’s 7 pips was a mental issue.
Entering when the environment isn’t right usually leads to early profits.
③ I’m already good at stop losses, now sharpen the take-profit skill
Using break-even stops is now perfect.
This is a big growth.
The next stage is
to create “trending trades” that run.
■ Summary: Even 7 pips was a valuable trade
Today's trade, in terms of results,
felt “meh…”.
But,
my habits
weak points
improvement points
next tasks
This was an incredibly important day where I could see all of them clearly.
Tomorrow I will be better!! And likely!
