【11/28 USD/JPY Scalp Points】
Good work everyone! Let’s go with USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, here is today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently USD/JPY is around 156.40. This morning it started around 156.30, but during Tokyo time the market was in shortened trading due to the day after Thanksgiving in the U.S. (Black Friday), making the market quiet. It looks like we’ll hand over to overseas time at roughly the same level as this morning.
In my setup, spreads occasionally widened and the interbank market didn’t look motivated… it might have been wiser for scalpers not to touch it.
As European/London time approaches, liquidity seems to return a bit, and I plan to try a little, similar to yesterday.
Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movement near the London market opening at 17:00
———
● Be cautious of headlines related to U.S.-Japan policy rates
Tonight’s “1-minute chart scalping” is hard to target since the New York market is effectively closed. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” don’t overdo it; after the London market opens, unless there’s a strong move, it may be best to take a break.
Also, the “15-minute scalping” which is shorting-focused may struggle with lower liquidity, but the dollar is holding firm, so don’t push it too hard today.
With that, overseas trading time will begin shortly!
Because the scalping targets small profit margins, it’s easy to feel there are 24 hours of opportunities, but that’s not the case. By targeting periods with relatively high volatility, you can significantly lower the difficulty of trading.
The time periods I target are around the London market open and around the New York market open.
・London market open time (UTC: 16:00 in US daylight time / 17:00 in US standard time)
・New York market open time (UTC: 22:00 in US daylight time / 23:00 in US standard time)
Even right after U.S. data releases and events, volatility rises and more opportunities appear. However, in the first few minutes after the release, spreads can widen, so the rule is to enter only after returning to normal spreads.
Always check the U.S. indicators and event schedule in advance. Knowing the times when opportunities will come helps you accumulate profits efficiently.
Also, please avoid positioning immediately before U.S. data/events. If you go against the trend, you’ll be in trouble in an instant. Careless mistakes are unacceptable, absolutely.
U.S. indicators/events schedule can be checked on the websites of each brokerage or FX provider.
Of course there are other points beyond these three, but I’ve explained the minimum points you should keep in mind when scalping USD/JPY.

Actually… I’m fully releasing one of my trading methods, the “15-minute scalping,” for free. I hope it can be of some help, even if small. (Completely free.)

Also, on the following page I’ve公開 my main trading method, “1-minute scalping,” so if you’re interested please check it out. (Sorry… this one is paid.)
If you’re aiming higher, please consider it.
