to produce the best possible product from the ground up.

MT5 and MT4 are completely different with no compatibility. Their structures differ. In particular, MT5’s older version is built to leverage MT5’s features. It isn’t made to lean toward either version, but the way positions are taken is closer to the new version. However, MT4 and MT5 not only differ in user platforms but also in the broker’s specifications, and MT4 has a simpler structure, so it’s a different thing altogether. In practice, even when running simultaneously, the results will not be the same.
