| Not by intuition, a trader who wins with rules |
Tarou
He started investing while running his own business. At first he experimented with binary options and FX, and, after about two years of losses, by studying charts he established a reproducible trading method that does not rely on market context or on instinct.Currently, while selling his method, he continues to practice on "Investment Navi+" to test his own "style".

1. Independence and starting to trade ─ The first hurdle
| First, you started investing soon after going independent. Could you tell us about the situation at that time? |
| GoGoJ Hayakawa |
| Tarou |
| Yes. Right after independence, I thought income wouldn’t be stable, so I began FX and binary options to cover living costs. But at that time there were no rules, and I kept losing. |
| I suppose the early days were quite tough. Did you also try other financial products? |
| GoGoJ Hayakawa |
| Tarou |
| Yes. I also explored cryptocurrencies, but I couldn’t get to individual stocks. |
| Trading isn’t done during the day; you work at night. What time do you trade? |
| GoGoJ Hayakawa |
| Tarou |
| I finish work at night, so I trade around 21–22:00. Movements occur in New York time, so it’s perfect. |
| It wasn’t immediately successful when you started trading; how did you feel at that time? |
| GoGoJ Hayakawa |
| Tarou |
| I studied via YouTube and books, but profits didn’t stay as expected and funds were shrinking, which was very troubling. |
2. Trial and error and improvement ─ Where do signs of success come from?
| Trading hadn’t gone smoothly for two years since starting. What kinds of trial and error did you go through during that period? |
| GoGoJ Hayakawa |
| Tarou |
| I tried various indicators and kept thinking about what could be useful. For two years I kept wondering. But even using all of them didn’t work well. |
| What insights did you gain from that? |
| GoGoJ Hayakawa |
| Tarou |
| I realized that displaying a single indicator with different parameter settings in multiple places reveals zones that are easy for me to see. |
| Is it like stacking moving averages? |
| GoGoJ Hayakawa |
| Tarou |
| Yes, exactly. Stacking multiple indicators made the timing of trades clearer. |
| Did that analysis cause your trading to gradually improve? |
| GoGoJ Hayakawa |
| Tarou |
| Yes. By sticking to my own rules and documenting them into a manual and following them rigorously, I finally started to see results. |
3. Indicator development ─ The big change brought by formalization
| While establishing the rules, you also worked on indicator development; was your programming self-taught? |
| GoGoJ Hayakawa |
| Tarou |
| Yes. I started self-learning by buying books and e-books. Recently I also use generative AI. |
| The tools currently displayed on screen, "Tenkuu no Hazama" and "Shinrabansho," were also born this way, right? |
| GoGoJ Hayakawa |
| Tarou |
| Yes. "Tenkuu no Hazama" is designed to be self-contained with standard indicators only, and includes an entry EA. "Shinrabansho" includes an EA that can handle both entry and exit. |
| Both are used daily, and I understand that "Shinrabansho" is especially the culmination. |
| GoGoJ Hayakawa |
| Tarou |
| Yes, Shinrabansho is the consolidation of insights gained from stacking multiple indicators and codifying them into a set of rules. |
| Is automatic trading possible to align with New York time movements? |
| GoGoJ Hayakawa |
| Tarou |
| Yes. You can use buy/sell signals manually or automatically; either way. |
