[11/17] Tonight's USD/JPY scalping points and methods free公開中
To the Trading Office, this is Tomizaki.
[11/17 USD/JPY Scalping Points]
Thanks for your hard work! Alright, let's do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, here is today’s Tokyo session overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 154.75. This morning, it started around 154.50, and during Tokyo time there was a mix of dollar buying and yen buying, but dollar buying slightly dominated, keeping the downside firm. It still seems the pressure from the USD-JPY interest rate differential and yen carry trades remains strong.
From the morning level, about 25 pips higher, it seems to hand off to the overseas session.
With the U.S. government agencies reopening, this week we finally expect the release of the “U.S. Employment Situation” data.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movement near the London market open
● Movement after the release of the “U.S. NY Fed Manufacturing Index” at 22:30
● Movement near the New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)
—–
● Pay attention to headlines related to U.S.-Japan policy rates
Tonight’s “1-minute scalping” will target moves around each market open, plus the move after the 22:30 release of the U.S. NY Fed Manufacturing Index. For “1-minute scalping club” users, as long as you handle it according to theory, there should be no problem.
Also, the short-only “15-minute scalping” remains under strong pressure from the USD-JPY interest rate differential, keeping the movement stubbornly firm, so today no overexertion. Tonight I plan to focus on “1-minute scalping.”
Let’s get ready as overseas time is about to start!
Because scalping targets small profit per trade, it’s easy to think there are chances around every 24 hours, but that isn’t the case. By aiming for time periods with higher volatility, you can drastically lower the difficulty of trading.
The time periods I target are near the London market open and near the New York market open.
・London market open time (During U.S. daylight time 16:00– / During U.S. standard time 17:00–)
・New York market open time (During U.S. daylight time 22:00– / During U.S. standard time 23:00–)
Volatility remains high immediately after U.S. data and events, offering many opportunities. However, in the minutes right after the release, spreads can widen, so the rule is to enter only after the spreads return to normal.
Always check the U.S. data and event schedule in advance. Knowing the times when opportunities come allows you to accumulate profits more efficiently.
Also, avoid positioning just before U.S. data/events. If you go against it, you can’t help but lose. Do not make careless mistakes, absolutely not.
U.S. data/event schedules can be checked on each brokerage’s or FX company’s website.
Of course, there are other points besides the three above, but I’ve discussed the minimum points you should hold when scalping USD/JPY.
