Exy-2
In 2014 I started FX, and after trial and error in discretionary trading, I began to see the potential of EA.“I want to shape the ideal logic”, so I started learning MQL4, and now I work as Exy-2 FX Institute developing automated-trading EAs and discretionary-support tools.
Leveraging the design and analytical skills I developed as an IT freelance engineer, I pursue creating a trading environment that is not swayed by emotions and reduces mistakes.
I aim to develop highly practical tools born from my own experience.

1. Birth of Investor Exy-2 — An Engineer Enters the World of Trading
| This time we’re welcoming Exy-2, an investor with 20 years of experience and long-term engineering experience. First, could you tell us the origin of the activity name “Exy-2”? |

| Yes. I launched a project called “Exy-2 FX Institute” with my partner, a discretionary trader named Edgar. We wanted to create sexy tools together, so we inverted “Sexy” to “Exy,” and since there are two of us, we added the number “2.” |
| I see, a clever naming choice. I heard you originally started in stock investing? |

| Yes. I started around 20 years ago with Japanese stocks. I truly got into investing about 11 years ago with FX and binary options. At first I was drawn by the idea that even small amounts could win by drawing lines and similar approaches. |
| Your main job is an engineer, but you’ve handled a wide range of systems, not just investment-specific ones? |

| Yes. I built my career in business systems, operations, and maintenance within the general IT field. That experience laid the foundation for building trading tools later on. |
