Rakuten subsidiary "Everyone's Bitcoin" changes trade name to "Rakuten Wallet": new services to be provided from April
Rakuten, Inc. announced on February 13 that it will change the trading name of "Minna no Bit Coin Co., Ltd." to "Rakuten Wallet, Inc." on March 1, 2018.
In addition to the trading name, the corporate logo will also be changed.
Minna no Bit Coin Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based cryptocurrency exchange that was acquired through Rakuten Group in August 2018.
Rakuten acquired all shares (5,100 shares) of Minna no Bit Coin Co., Ltd. for 265 million yen, and it drew attention that Rakuten, a major Japanese IT and securities company, entered the cryptocurrency industry.
