From the education industry to the world of investment — why English proficiency helped programming

| You’ve listed EAs on GogoJungle, but you initially were active in the education sector, correct? |

| That’s right. I actually worked as an English teacher. Since I was good at English, programming wasn’t that difficult. I also studied programming a bit in college, so it felt like a natural progression into it. |

| While teaching, you were also involved in trading, correct? |

| Yes. At first I was an employee, but I quit soon after. While working part-time, I searched for ways to earn on my own and that's when I encountered investing. From there I studied bit by bit to reach where I am now. |

| Yes, I initially lost 500,000 Yen in employment statistics. I started without knowing much, almost like gambling. I didn’t read books at the time, and my understanding of technicals was shallow, so it was an expected result. |

| From there I switched to a mindset of “learning.” |

| Yes. I’ve always liked reading, and researching was fun. I followed successful people on SNS and the internet, while starting my own retrospective testing. However, manual verification is really laborious… |

| That’s right. I started looking at stocks and indices as well, and I trade them sometimes. But the main focus is still FX. Now I mainly operate EA-based trading because it’s more efficient than manual trading. |
