From November 2018 to February 2019, a total of 750,000 ETH was sold, according to the overseas crypto media Trustnode, contributing to a price crash.

The total ETH sales for 2018 reached 2.6 million ETH, revealing the background of Ethereum's price collapse in 2018.

Ethereum Sold 750,000 ETH in Just 3 Months

Early in 2018, Ethereum traded around 100,000 yen per 1 ETH.

A year has passed since then, and recently the price per ETH has been around 13,000 yen.

The decline rate exceeds 85%.

A factor driving this decline was the large-scale sale of ETH by ICO projects.

According to data from overseas crypto media Trustnode, about 100,000 ETH were sold in August 2018, about 300,000 ETH in September, and about 400,000 ETH in November by ICO projects.
