The Investment Journey That Began from 225
|
| First, could you tell us what sparked you to start investing? |

| It started with 225 (Nikkei 225 futures). I began through a friend's introduction, but at that time I had almost no investment experience and knew nothing about stocks. |
|
| Back then you weren’t trading with a system, were you? |
|
|

| That’s right. I traded relying on human judgment, thinking “If it goes this way, buy,” or “If it goes this way, sell.” Naturally, it didn’t go smoothly, and I kept losing. |

| What kept you going despite the losses? |
|

| Losing was the norm, but as I kept at it I became intensely interested and started trading every day. |

Transition to FX and Challenge to Systematization
|
| So you moved into FX from there, what was the reason? |
|
|

| In 225, Japanese trading hours were limited, and there were many occasions where large price movements occurred after hours. It felt unfair that the market moved in times I couldn’t operate, so I searched for something that could trade 24 hours, which led me to FX. |

| From the beginning, did you use systems like MT4? |
|

| No, at first I didn’t even know about MT4. I started trading on a platform from a securities company. Even there I didn’t make big profits and still lost often. |

| Yes. As I traded every day, I felt I needed to create my own rules. Then I leveraged my programming knowledge to gradually move toward systematization. |

| Specifically, how did the systematization flow proceed? |
|

| Initially traded manually, gradually building rules. However, emotions often guided decisions, and the "battle with myself" was a challenge. So I used MQL4 and began serious systematic trading. As a result, trading results gradually stabilized. |
