FX Practical: NZDUSD Trading Analysis – October 2, 2025
On October 2, 2025, Japan time 14:54, I analyzed the NZDUSD 30-minute chart.
At that time, the price was in a clear downtrend, forming a sideways range after a sharp decline. Within that range, I confirmed a concentration of volume. With the downtrend, the post-pullback correction, and a volume concentration zone (AOC) in place, I obtained a basis for selling setups.
As a result of applying Volume Profile, I identified the AOC (Area of Control) where volume is most concentrated. This zone overlaps with the supply zone formed by the previous drop, and I viewed a good selling opportunity (short) when prices revisited it.
Entry: Set a Sell Limit in the AOC zone (around 0.58505) (near the lower bound of the orange zone on the chart).
Stop loss: placed above the AOC, around 0.58722, to avoid fakeouts.
Take profit: aimed toward the recent low, targeting around 0.58135.
In this trade, the risk-reward (RR) is set at about 1:1.5. By combining the trend direction with the Volume Profile's AOC, I believe I achieved a higher-probability entry.
I will continue to share practical trade analyses like this, so please follow me.
