Today is the Bank of Japan Monetary Policy Meeting for the day, and the policy interest rate will be announced after the meeting!

When the Bank of Japan announces its policy rate, based on past trends, it has often been announced around 11:30 to 12:30 after the meeting ends.

Below are a few examples of past announcement times.

March 19, 2024: 12:09

January 23, 2024: 12:17

December 19, 2023: 12:31

October 31, 2023: 12:32

September 22, 2023: 12:44

July 28, 2023: 12:36

There will also be a regular press conference by BOJ Governor Kazuo Ueda, so please beware of price movements.

Recommendation is to ride the trend after the Ueda press conference ends to take profits.
